Getting ready for the next Federal Election

On September 12, the 黑料视频鈥檚 (黑料视频) Board of Directors met in Saskatoon for their fall meeting. This was an opportunity for the Board to discuss the upcoming Federal Election and refine our messaging and strategy for the next campaign. As the political environment is quickly evolving in Ottawa, the Board solidified our strategy and finalized the plan. It was the opportunity to confirm that infrastructure investment, procurement modernization, and workforce development remain the main issues to be promoted during the next campaign.

As we look to next year, 黑料视频 will implement a modest two per cent membership fee increase.

Best practices: Building a better environment for our members to thrive

SignaSur and Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) documents were intensively discussed. 黑料视频 is working closely with our integrated partners to deliver fair and balanced contracts to the industry. In the next few weeks, members can access a new bulletin and digital documents.

The Board also approved the publication of the 鈥淐onstruction playbook: Public procurement risk allocation鈥� report developed by the General Contractors National Advisory Council. The report will be released in early October.

Engagement: Stronger together

On Wednesday night, before the meeting, the 黑料视频 Board of Directors met with the local and provincial associations to discuss collaboration and support for the organizations. Advocacy, member value, and engagement were at the centre of our discussions. We all concluded that we are stronger together.
